Points of Interest © US Government's Credit Score May Drop February 3rd, 2010 12:34 PM Moody's said that unless further measures are taken to cure our chronic budget deficit, the US Government's AAA credit rating may come under pressure. That's like a borrower's credit score being above 740 where lenders will pay incentives and then dropping below 700 where the same loan could cost much more.
